AUDIO (installing jack)
=======================

Radium requires Jack. Jack is an audio server which sends sound in and out of Radium.

If Jack isn't already installed on your computer, the simplest way to get it is
to install the included package

   JackOSX.0.90.zip

Jack installation requires a reboot, but afterwards you can send sound between
any CoreAudio application, and route sound any way you like.

Instuctions:

  1. Install Jack (JackOSX.0.90.zip)
  2. Start the program "JackPilot".
  3. Go into the Preferences menu of JackPilot and enable "Hog mode".
  4. Press the "start" button.

If Jack doesn't start, try selecting different input and output devices.

KEYBOARD
========

In order to enable all keyboard shortcuts, "Enable access for assistive devices" must be turned on.
You find this option under

   System Preferences -> Accessibility

or

   System Preferences -> Universal Access

This option allows Radium to turn off OSX system shortcuts when Radium has keyboard focus.

WHAT'S MISSING IN THIS RELEASE (+ known bugs)
========================================================================
* The graphics of the editor is very fuzzy and rough. I have not yet figured out
  how to enable high quality mode for OpenGL graphics on OSX.
* Radium crashes if trying to select full screen.
* AU plugins are not supported yet.
* The Pd plugin is not supported yet.
* Name of the program seems to be "Hello World" and not "Radium".
* Crashreporter program does not work. (Please report manually
  if Radium crashes.)
