Re: ASIO without JACK globally installed?

New versions of Radium are being compiled up right now. Yeah, the jack installer is really unnecessary. There's really no reason to install anything (all shared files could instead be placed in a sub directory of the program starting the jack server), but it's made by linux people, and linux people ...

Re: ASIO without JACK globally installed?

Oh, I'll have to look at how Jack is compiled up. I guess ASIO isn't enabled. Anyway, installing Jack should only copy the dll files, copy the executable, and copy the driver files. It shouldn't install any services, change the registry, or do anything else that could change how the computer behaves...

Re: ASIO without JACK globally installed?

Hi,

You can still use ASIO with the included version of Jack. But if you want to send audio from Radium to another ASIO program, or send audio from another ASIO program to Radium, you need to install Jack globally.

Re: How to create connections in the mixer?

You audio-connect two modules by placing the mouse pointer slightly to the right of the right side of a module, or slightly to the left side of the left side of a module, and drag to another module.

The yellow lines are event-connections, to send notes and so forth between modules.

Re: Sampled instruments support?

And yes, you can do synthesis with the pure data instrument. When you select "New Pd Instrument" from the track menu in the editor, you get a simple sine wave instrument. Also take a look at the Blowfish demo song.

Re: Sampled instruments support?

Unfortunately, there's no interface to edit multiple sample per instrument in the sampler yet. So yes, you have to use an external program for now. The sampler instrument supports sf2 and xi instruments.

Re: No work in macos 10.12.6 4k

The transparancy should be fixed in 5.4.2. Regarding the 2:1 scaling, I have no idea. There's no reason for macOS to scale some parts of the program, and some not. I've set NSHighResolutionCapable to true, so it shouldn't scale anything.
