Re: some prompt screen problem

It seems like you're not allowed to set non-realtime priority, which is a bit strange. Maybe you have some strange values in /etc/security/limits.conf? My relevant lines in that file look like this:

Code: Select all

kjetil - rtprio 99
kjetil - memlock unlimited
kjetil - nice -20

Radium 7.5.71 released

Radium 7.5.71 contains lots of internal changes to possibly increase stability and improve DSP performance. The most important bug fix this time is for Mac: Radium should not screw up the modifier keys anymore. In addition, the release contains many smaller bug fixes and minor improvements. Unfortun...

Re: template

I mean enabled by default, they are of course available, but you might have to e.g. enable them manually under File -> Song Properties. It probably has to be this way to ensure backwards-compatibility with old songs... This is only a relevant problem after you have updated Radium to a new version th...

Re: template

You can replace the file "bin/sounds/new_song.rad" with your template file, but note that new features in future versions of Radium won't always be enabled when you replace that file, so it's probably better if you just load the template file manually after starting Radium.

Re: recording/mixing/channel

Unfortunately there aren't many tutorials. Sound quality ========= The sound quality shouldn't be different from what you get in other DAWS. If the problem is pops and glitches, a red number in the lower right corner of the of the main window should be visible if the computer isn't able to keep up. ...

Re: support help

Hi, sorry about that. The landing-page should have all the information, but It seems to have stopped working. In addition though, and this is always supposed to happen, you will get an email with the same information. However, it seems like this email is usually eaten by a spam filter on the way. Ho...

Re: probably a bug

Hi, sorry for answering late. I didn't get an email from the web server that there was a new post (happens a lot). I can't reproduce this unfortuanately. I opened the menu, right-clicked the "Block from top - Play" entry and pressed "Y". Afterward when I press the "Y" k...

Re: Tips on polyphony

Another thing, when working on a drum track and shift-adding a note I would like that note to not be cut of by next note, I haven't figured out how to extend a note? Is there a setting to automatically let shift-added notes ring out? Pretty sure there isn't a way to do that. I guess this problem wo...

Re: Tips on polyphony

Maybe we should add functions to split/merge polyphonic tracks, so that polyphonic tracks can temporarily be split into several monophonic tracks while editing. Polyphonic tracks probably makes most sense if you use the pianoroll though, although they existed 15 years before Radium got a pianoroll. ...
