Re: Playing ZynAddSubFX/ZynFusion with MIDI-keyboard inside radium

Got it!
I searched a possibility to turn off active sensing for my keyboard inside the config-software, but didn't find one.
Just to try it, I disabled polyphonic aftertouch. This makes the problem go away. Seems like this was the cause of the problem.

Re: Playing ZynAddSubFX/ZynFusion with MIDI-keyboard inside radium

Not sure if I get it right: active sensing means things like aftertouch?

Re: Playing ZynAddSubFX/ZynFusion with MIDI-keyboard inside radium

Thanks for all your efforts, if I play it through VMPK virtual MIDI keyboard it works fine. Unfortunately Seems like there is a bug in Radium. If the option "MIDI Input: Use the MIDI channel ..." under Edit -> Preferences -> MIDI is enabled, active sensing messages seems to be transformed ...

Re: Playing ZynAddSubFX/ZynFusion with MIDI-keyboard inside radium

Okay let's see.... if I startup a brand new instance of radium and put Zyn-Fusion on it it happens ... No issues with surge, helm or u-he podolski ... Same when opening a new clean project after startup: Zyn-Fusion cuts off sustained notes, other vst's don't. Seems like it's only Zyn-Fusion and pers...

Playing ZynAddSubFX/ZynFusion with MIDI-keyboard inside radium

Hi there, me again, noticed another thing, which I cannot figure out. Not sure if it's a user-error/bug in zyn or in radium. When I load the Zyn-Fusion vst inside radium I can play it as normal with the pc-keyboard. When played via a MIDI-keyboard the notes get triggered but they fade out quickly (~...

Oh man, silly me.... How blind one can be! Thanks for helping with this one, too. As expected, user-error this time. Now back to testing this awesome software :)

Next Question: key-repeat of computer-keyboard retriggers midi

I opened a new topic, just for a better overview. Today I realized that every time I trigger an audio-instrument (vst) and continue pressing the key on the computer-keyboard the note first gets normally triggered and then repeated very fast, causing level-accumulation and weird phasing. This is simp...

Re: Question regarding new_song template

Brilliant news! Thanks a lot for your efforts ... really amazing. I'm afraid I got another issue i stumbled upon today, should I open a new topic or can I put it directly here (very likely it's a user error this time)?
