And there is no jack-to-coreaudio wrapper in c++? Why coreaudio can't run in a separate process, too? Or can't you fully integrate the jackosx server into your app, so it runs invisble for runtime and auto-quits?

No, using JackServer on macOS just is a workflow mess, that's all. CoreAudio is fine.

Hi, today tried to use Radium recent version on macos 10.12.6 with retina/4k resolution: - Radium or jack audio cause constant system freezes, even mouse pointer will freeze regularly (very uncommon in macos). Work is not really possible this way. - Some views of radium only are displayed in a quart...

Nice to see, Jack installation isnt required anymore on Windows. Is that possible for macos, too? Maybe with kind of jack->coreaudio wrapper?

Surely jack audio brings a lot of advantages, but I am talking about convenience: People need to run that kind of annoying oldschool jack audio server installation, and most people only will do because Radium requires it, since the native os can support the same functionality. Yes, 100% agreed. Jack feels very uncomfortable under macOS and Windows. There are really good audio APIs on both systems. Please support those APIs, coreaudio and wasapi. Since Radium is such a great and innovative software, it is a pity not to support it.
