Re: Radium 7.2.87 released

Radium 2.7.89 released. Quick release to fix LV2 plugins, which was broken in 2.7.87. Also, in 2.7.87 I forgot to mention that LV2 is available for MacOS as well, which would have been incorrect. But now it is. This release also includes a new demo song called "Locrans Shop" made by Trumpe...

Re: Radium outputs Audio when pressing Right Shift, but will not when starting play in the sequencer

It's still very big. I think I"ll do it like this: 1. Remove the default fluidsynth instrument from Radium (the one with the classical instruments) 2. Use the drumset from from your song as the default fluidsynth instryment, and rename it fluid-soundfont-drumset-gm or something like that. 3. Ch...

Re: Laptop+distro

Yeah, me too. It's really nice not having a fan and not always having the electric chord connected. I see the Qualcomm Elite X laptops do have a fan though, but hopefully it doesn't turn on very often, but I guess there'll be other high-performing ARM-laptops soon as well.

Radium 7.2.87 released

Biggest news this time is support for ARM64 CPUs. This includes releasing native binaries for Macs running an M1, M2, or M3 CPU. (Download MacOS ARM64 binaries here: http://users.notam02.no/~kjetism/radium/betas/macos_arm64/?C=M;O=D) Another big news is the new demo song "Poptikus" by Nil ...

Re: Laptop+distro

But again, Pinebook might not a good laptop for Radium. The reason is that it only has 2GB of memory, which sounds too little.

Re: Laptop+distro

ARM-based computers should now work fine with Radium. There's no binary distribution of Radium for ARM for Linux though, but it is possible to compile yourself. However, I might add ARM-binaries for Linux if requested enough times.

Re: Radium outputs Audio when pressing Right Shift, but will not when starting play in the sequencer

Hi, I'll postpone including the song in the program until next release. We need to figure out a way to strip out unused samples from the song since it's too big (600MB!). I have stripped sf2-files before, but I don't remember how right now.

Re: Tutorial video for Radium

Really nice! This looks like a really good intro video to the program.

I'll put a link to it to the info page.

I'll also fix the "delete instrument" bug, right now. :)

Re: Radium outputs Audio when pressing Right Shift, but will not when starting play in the sequencer

Hi there, The reason for the silence seems to be that the main seqtrack is muted. :-) But it's not easy to see. The default green of the main seqtrack is very similar to the color of the mute button, so it's very hard to see when it's muted. I obviously need to fix this. I agree it would be a good d...
