I was trying out Radium several times, its a interesting project. But i always fail on this different kind of usebility.
There is now comprehensive manual to describe basics thinks. I still cant figure out how i can select notes in the sequencer. There are many buttons in this program without any tooltip. When there are tooltips, they often dont display any assinged keys, so i could train me keyboard shortcuts. I often accidentally create stuff with mouse clicks, because i didn't that this was possible.
You really need some tutorial videos for you program. So it's easier for us to get know how to use it
I'm already familiar with Renoise, Sunvox, Bitwig, FL and Reason. But Radium its really quite different, but seems very powerful, too. Is there any plan to fix this "problem"? That would open the doors to a broader community. More users would also help you for your development time.
More comprehensive manual?
Re: More comprehensive manual?
Manual is slowly being updated, but it should of course be updated faster. Latest version is here:There is now comprehensive manual to describe basics thinks.

(more updated than the one included with the program)
You mean in the editor? Press left extra + b to select range. In the development version you can also select notes by pressing ctrl and click on a note in the piano roll. This should be included in the next release, but I haven't quite figured out the interface yet.I still cant figure out how i can select notes in the sequencer.
Tooltips are a bit intrusive, so sometimes often don't add them. But almost all buttons should either display info in tooltip, or display info in the status bar, or both. Please let me know which buttons that should display better info. There are many buttons in this program without any tooltip.
Keybindings should be displayed / trained by pressing right mouse button, not tooltip. When there are tooltips, they often dont display any assinged keys, so i could train me keyboard shortcuts.
In the editor? Yeah, I do that too sometimes. But if you are using Mac, you should know that mouse hovering hasn't been working since 5.9.86 (this bug should be fixed before the next release), meaning, for instance, that elements are not drawn in thicker colors when mouse is above then.I often accidentally create stuff with mouse clicks, because i didn't that this was possible.
Yeah, I would really appreciate help on the manual.More users would also help you for your development time.
Re: More comprehensive manual?
You mean ctrl + b? I'm on windows. Tried shift, ctrl and alt key's.

Look at http://users.notam02.no/~kjetism/radium ... ramed.html for documentation about the keys in Radium.
Press EXTRA_L + B to mark range.

Re: More comprehensive manual?
Ah ok, thx. Now i know why this is not working for me. Its a bit "strange" to use Windows keys in a application. I also have a steelseries keyboard, where the left Windows key is missing.
Re: More comprehensive manual?
You can remap all keybindings manually (https://users.notam02.no/~kjetism/radiu ... ramed.html), but it's probably much easier to get a new keyboard. I think it's very seldom for keyboards nowadays not to have windows keys.
