I very much like the width effect in the sampler!
Would be great if we could have even more options here.
One thing I'd like would be a stereo pitch detune, so left and right channels get slightly detuned from each other to create an even bigger stereo effect.
another thing that was quit successful in FL Studios stock sampler and basically led to the distorted 808 hip sound and used in lots of harder dance styles is the easy way to overdrive a sample and clip it with it's preprocessor effects.
so maybe a clip checkbox that just clips the sample in compination with a boost/gain slider? One could than turn down the volume off the distorted sample with the regular volume slider in the sampler. Very handy to quickly create distorted samples without needing to set up distortion vsts.
I'll make a little video of the FL sampler option later to demonstrate it.
FR: Sampler L/R fine pitch detune + preprocessor effects
Re: FR: Sampler L/R fine pitch detune + preprocessor effects
That's a good idea.
Just a clip effect? Sounds very rough. But a distortion-effect would probably be cool, where 100% means fully distorted (whatever that means), and 0% means no distortion. Yes, a demonstration video from FL would be great.another thing that was quit successful in FL Studios stock sampler and basically led to the distorted 808 hip sound and used in lots of harder dance styles is the easy way to overdrive a sample and clip it with it's preprocessor effects.

Nice
It's basically a 0dbU clipping stage between one volume knob and another volume knob.
There's a little orange light that ready clip that you can turn on in FL and then if you increase the boost, the sample will get clipped/distorted. you can then turn it down again and there is a one knob eq like effect to quickly shape the sample (+Ring Modulation, stereo width and "Pogo" a sort of Pitch envelope).

It's really handy to saturate kicks and samples a tiny bit (or a lot if youre into gabba or hardstyle ) without having to load effect plugins. kinda pure...

Re: FR: Sampler L/R fine pitch detune + preprocessor effects
There's a pitch slider in 6.5.76.
Re: FR: Sampler L/R fine pitch detune + preprocessor effects
thanks, great to see this in Radium
Re: FR: Sampler L/R fine pitch detune + preprocessor effects
Just to throw in another idea here for brainfood would be
a button that links the (nonexisting) pitch envelope to the ADSR volume envelope.
My guess is that the Sampler-Instrument has a pitch envelope already
but there is no interface for it?
Given that there is not much space anymore for much more sliders
a small button (or option) to simultaneously use the ADSR for pitch might be cool.
This would of course be still pretty limited, but better than nothing I suppose?
(Also this is based on the assumption that there IS already a pitch envelope in
the "background" sitting idle at 0/0/0/0)
Let me know what you think.

Re: FR: Sampler L/R fine pitch detune + preprocessor effects
There isn't an unused ADSR pitch envelope in the sampler. But I think a more general solution would be to add an ADSR envelope type to the modulator + add an option to trigger modulator by incoming note, and then you can modulate one of the pitch shift sliders in the sampler.
