Re: Newbie Problem - impossible to enter numbers in the sub-tracks (Chance, velocity,...)
There is an alternative solution, namely to only use scancode (i.e. QWERTY) for keybindings, and only do the conversion from scancode->local name when displaying menus and so forth. However, then it would be difficult to document keybindings outside of the program + that common keybindings such as C...

Re: Newbie Problem - impossible to enter numbers in the sub-tracks (Chance, velocity,...)
Hmm, I didn't have any problems adding the letters a to f, except that I spent a very (VERY) long time finding the right keys in the "fr bepo" keyboard. You're using plasma with wayland? I'll check again, maybe I only tested a-f under that gnome-thing, not plasma.

Re: Newbie Problem - impossible to enter numbers in the sub-tracks (Chance, velocity,...)
... and Alt+Y is obtained with the qwerty layout, even if the activated layout is not the qwerty layout. I've tried "fr bebo" under wayland, and it behaves differently than under X. It was impossible to add numbers in the velocity text there, so that has to be fixed. (Interestingly though...

Re: A new alternative way of entering notes in Radium?
How about an option to open a text editor for the notes of a track. Then you can edit the notes in the text editor, and when finished, press apply, or something like that? The reason I'm suggesting this is that it's much cleaner to implement than changing the editor itself. In addition, a normal tex...

Re: A new alternative way of entering notes in Radium?
There's a lot of things that are not in the manual though. E.g. Ctrl + J to move cursor (although that one is in the list of common keybindings). The default keybindings conf file might be a good idea to look over though if you're using the program a lot. :-) https://raw.githubusercontent.com/kmathe...

Re: A new alternative way of entering notes in Radium?
There is already Left Alt + Return to edit/add a note by writing it in full, but what you're proposing is probably more efficient. Maybe you can propose some incremental improvements to Left Alt + Return?

Re: Pianoroll of Radium is nice !
Yeah, editing pitch in the note-text column is probably the fastest way to add several glissandos, and you're right, I've forgotten to add this feature to the manual! In case you didn't find out (and only used the mouse to add glissando inside the note-text subtrack), the keybinding to add/edit note...

Ah, you're using Wayland, that's a different system, a different X implementation. I'll try and see if I can reproduce the problems in Wayland.

Re: Newbie Problem - impossible to enter numbers in the sub-tracks (Chance, velocity,...)
Oh, right, number keys doesn't work with "fr bepo" because you need to press shift. That's harder to fix properly. But I could make an option to let numbers in the subtrack use scancode instead of xcb symbols. Then you would have a QWERTY keyboard when entering numbers in the sub-tracks. W...

Re: Newbie Problem - impossible to enter numbers in the sub-tracks (Chance, velocity,...)
There is one bug as far as I can see: It doesn't work changing keyboard setting after Radium has started. So if I start radium like this: setxkbmap us ./run_radium.sh Then the Y key in QWERTY will always be an Y, even after I change to a non-QWERTY keyboard. I've tried both "fr" "fr b...
