Hello there!
I'm trying really hard to install Radium on my laptop, and I haven't been able to progress. The windows version works okay in wine, but I want to run the native linux version.
When I try to run the install script, I get a message about missing dependencies “tcl/tk”. That's not really correct, as I'm told my OS has these dependencies preinstalled.
Here's the Garuda Forum page
https://forum.garudalinux.org/t/radium- ... cies/36880
The support I'm getting is folk are saying "try bitwig or ardour instead" UGH i *hate* bitwig so much!
Anyway thank you for your time
Installation help!
Re: Installation help!
Radium is looking for “wish”, the tcl/tk commannd line application, needed by the pd insyrument. it doesnt seem to be in the path. maybe its enough installing pd?
Re: Installation help!
also, if you don’t use the pd instrument, you can probably just comment out this check from the startup script.
Re: Installation help!
Oh, I see now. You have only installed tcl. You also need to install tk.
Re: Installation help!
Also, some guy on that forum seems to have think the Radium AUR package is broken. This is unlikely since it’s up-to-date plus that the maintainer of the package also regularly contributes code for radium. Seems like a low-quality forum IMO.
