There is now comprehensive manual to describe basics thinks.
Manual is slowly being updated, but it should of course be updated faster. Latest version is here:

(more updated than the one included with the program)
I still cant figure out how i can select notes in the sequencer.
You mean in the editor? Press left extra + b to select range. In the development version you can also select notes by pressing ctrl and click on a note in the piano roll. This should be included in the next release, but I haven't quite figured out the interface yet.
There are many buttons in this program without any tooltip.
Tooltips are a bit intrusive, so sometimes often don't add them. But almost all buttons should either display info in tooltip, or display info in the status bar, or both. Please let me know which buttons that should display better info.
When there are tooltips, they often dont display any assinged keys, so i could train me keyboard shortcuts.
Keybindings should be displayed / trained by pressing right mouse button, not tooltip.
I often accidentally create stuff with mouse clicks, because i didn't that this was possible.
In the editor? Yeah, I do that too sometimes. But if you are using Mac, you should know that mouse hovering hasn't been working since 5.9.86 (this bug should be fixed before the next release), meaning, for instance, that elements are not drawn in thicker colors when mouse is above then.
More users would also help you for your development time.
Yeah, I would really appreciate help on the manual.
