How to create connections in the mixer?

Hi,

How to patch two modules in the mixer (without moving anything)?

I noticed clicking the square in the module allows one to draw a yellow line to some other module but not aware of what this is doing.

You audio-connect two modules by placing the mouse pointer slightly to the right of the right side of a module, or slightly to the left side of the left side of a module, and drag to another module.

The yellow lines are event-connections, to send notes and so forth between modules.
